Contaminated Ground

We are fully capable of the investigation and remediation of contaminated land to a designated standard.

During the course of our project at RAF Mildenhall we carried out an extensive soils investigation to ensure that all contaminated soil and material was removed from the site. The site was then cleared and re-levelled with imported selected soil before being graded and grassed.

Contaminated ground remediation was also required at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where the contamination was primarily in the form of Asbestos and Alkali Silica Cement.

At Battersea Power Station Site C we removed quantities of contaminated soil prior to constructing a new sub-station for the client.

We have also had to deal with contaminated water (and sludge) issues such as at the Gasholder Demolition site at Maidstone.

We also pro-actively assist our clients in the best financial arrangements to deal with contamination as under certain criterion there are tax allowances available from the Revenue when removing contamination.  (For details of these Tax Allowances please Contact Us and ask for our Asbestos Newsletter No.2).

We are happy to provide Independent Ground Surveys and Remediation as stand alone packages.
