British Columbia House, 1-3 Regent Street, London

The works comprised the Soft Strip  of internal fixtures and fittings of British Columbia House from basement to 6th floor.

Asbestos containing materials existed throughout the building and these were removed by our in-house asbestos division and disposed of in accordance with  the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and The Hazardous Waste Regulations prior to structural demolition.

M&E services were removed throughout the building with the exception of the water and electrical supply which were used during the works.

Once areas had been stripped fire alarms, emergency lighting and temporary lighting were installed.

The works also involved the protection of antique fireplaces and careful exposure of marble staircase and lift concealed over the past years.
